Australian Lemon Myrtle is the world's richest known natural source of citral (90-98%).
Laboratory research has concluded the citral essential oils contained in Lemon Myrtle leaf to be highly anti-bacterial and anti-microbial. The Australian Lemon Myrtle has also been discovered to be extremely efficacious as an anti-fungal remedy.
